Over the last 10 years, the Utah Transit Authority under the leadership of John Inglish , CEO has convened three Future Search Conferences. Each conference was convened when John Inglish and others recognized that there was a challenge issues, or situation that involved many people who had different perspectives on just what the problem, issues, situation, challenge might have been and how to resolve it. Because future search conference are centered in action research/action learning and because the stakeholders and the theme of each conference has been different. Each has had its own esthetic quality, successes and ripple projects (that are still bearing fruit and benefiting those who attended).
